After school Opportunities Unlimited programme

 

Consequently, pupils spend 25 hours per week actually being taught - the Secretary of State suggests in a guide to good practice that a minimum of 24 hours teaching should take place.  Our 25 hours excludes registration time.

 

LUNCH TIME

 

The school has a cafeteria at which meals may be purchased.  There is a wide variety of food available from several serving points.  Our aim is to provide choice, quality and healthy options for pupils. Space is provided for those who wish to bring sandwiches.

It is assumed that all pupils will stay on site at lunchtime and that they are not allowed to leave the premises without the permission of their Year Leader.  Any exceptions to this are considered on receipt of a letter of application from parents.
